Real Madrid was crowned European basketball champion for the eighth time in its history on April 13, 1995. Fifteen years after the Seventh, our team once again reigned supreme on the continent after defeating Olympiacos in the final held in Zaragoza. This squad, coached by Obradovic and led by Arvydas Sabonis, will always remain in the memory of madridistas.
Our team reached that final after overcoming Limoges in the semifinal (49-62).
