61 years ago, Real Madrid won its 10th league title. On April 12, 1964, our team was mathematically proclaimed champion with two games remaining thanks to a 1-1 draw at home against Sevilla. Puskas' goal, three minutes from time, allowed the Madridistas to get the point they needed to secure their fourth consecutive league title, the tenth in their trophy cabinet.

With Miguel Muñoz coaching the side, that team finished the 1963/64 League in first place with 46 points. The runner-up was Barcelona, with 42. That season’s Pichichi Trophy went to Puskas, with 21 goals; and the Zamora, to Vicente.
