Today marks 32 years since Real Madrid clinched their third European Cup Winners' Cup. On 17 March 1992, the Whites beat PAOK in an evenly contested final courtesy of a Ricky Brown basket with two seconds on the clock (65-63). Consequently, Clifford Luyk's team lifted the trophy in the French city of Nantes.

The madridistas appeared to be on track to win the final in the first half and went into the break with a 15-point lead (43-28). However, the Greeks rallied in the second half and levelled the score (63-63) with ten seconds left. They even had the possession to find a winning move, but in a magnificent final play, Brown stole the ball and hit the basket to give the Cup Winners' Cup to Real Madrid.
