NEWS.
A year on from securing the club's maiden European Cup, Real Madrid landed a second continental crown. The team successfully defended their crown 57 years ago in a two-legged final against CSKA Moscow. After falling to an 88-81 reverse in Russia in the first leg, our team fought back to claim a comfortable 76-62 second-leg win in Madrid on 13 April 1965.

Despite heading into the decisive showdown trailing by a seven-point margin, the madridistas proved to be far too strong for the Russians. Emiliano 24 points and Luyk 18 led Pedro Ferrándiz's men to victory in a season that also yielded league and Copa del Rey glory. This was the first of the legendary Whites' coach's four European Cups at the Real Madrid helm.
