Real Madrid honoured by the Spanish Sports Press Association
Emilio Butragueño and Felipe Reyes represented the club at the XLIII National Sports Gala, which acknowledged the successes achieved by the football and basketball teams in 2023.
The Spanish Sports Press Association (AEPD) honoured Real Madrid at the XLIII National Sports Gala, which was held at the Teatro Circo in Albacete. Our football team received praise for the Copa del Rey won at La Cartuja stadium against Osasuna on 6 May 2023, while the basketball team was recognised for lifting the Undécima, which it picked up on 21 May last year in Kaunas against Olympiacos after an incredible basket by Llull with three seconds to go. Real Madrid's Director of Institutional Relations, Emilio Butragueño, and basketball legend Felipe Reyes accepted the awards on behalf of the club.
