It was on 24 June 2007 that Real Madrid won their 30th basketball league title. The team coached by Joan Plaza was proclaimed champion after beating Barcelona in the final series. Our team won the first two games and settled the series away in the fourth game 71-82.
In the 2006/07 Regular League, Real Madrid finished second with a record of 25 wins and 9 losses. In the playoffs, the pre-final opponents were Valencia Basket in the quarter-finals and Joventut in the semi-finals. Felipe Reyes, MVP of the final, and Bullock, the team's top scorer with an average of 15.1 points, were Madrid's main points of reference that season.
