Ten coach-educators from the Real Madrid Foundation's schools in the Philippines have taken part in the Training Department's online courses. The aim was to refresh their knowledge in order to allow them to continue delivering the sports and values sessions which underpin the project. These coaches look after almost one hundred young people who benefit from the school. The design of tasks and games which include education in football and values is crucial, as set out in the methodology, For a Real Education: Values and Sport.

Despite face-to-face sessions currently being suspended, the training serves as motivation for the coaches who continue to support the school's attendees by delivering educational materials to allow them to keep their activities up from their own homes.

Collaborators
The social sports school in San Carlos is one of seven projects the Real Madrid Foundation runs in the Philippines, assisting over 500 children. Beyond the football and value training sessions, the school also provides academic and family support in an attempt to fight social exclusion. In this regard, our local collaborator, the Fundación Santiago, has been vital in providing for the basic needs of the beneficiaries and their families, especially given the restrictions imposed as a result of the pandemic and consequences of typhoons which have hit the country.
