The Real Madrid Foundation, Palladium Hotel Group and STE launch summer clinics in Brazil and Mexico
NEWS.
As part of its commitment to sport and children, Palladium Hotel Group has announced a new season of football clinics organised in collaboration with the Real Madrid Foundation at its hotels located in Riviera Maya Mexico and Imbassai Brazil. Through this project, which promotes sport as an instrument of socialisation in childhood and adolescence, organised in collaboration with Sports Tourism Education STE, the hotel group is committing itself to promoting sporting activity thanks to its positive impact on the personal development and wellbeing of children.

At the event held in the Real Madrid City auditorium, Iñaky Bau, Corporate Brand Strategy Sr. Director of Palladium Hotel Group, explained: 'As part of our sponsorship and partnership strategy with Real Madrid and, on a global level, as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, we have been committed to this project for some time now. We are honoured to be able to work together with Real Madrid and its Foundation'. Álvaro Arbeloa said: 'I think the school holidays are long and it's important that they take advantage of the time to learn and improve, playing sport in the open air'.

Dates
For 2024, the dates are: 1 to 5 April and 5 to 15 August in Mexico, at the Grand Palladium White Sand Resort & Spa, Grand Palladium Colonial Resort & Spa and Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort & Spa, situated in the Riviera Maya. In Brazil, where this activity has been promoted since 2016, the clinics will be held from 8 to 19 January and from 8 to 19 July at the Grand Palladium Imbassaí Resort & Spa Brazil.

Educational experience with the Foundation's methodology
The recreational and educational experiences offered by the clinics allow children between 5 and 17 years of age to make the best use of their leisure time while in the hotels. This initiative turns the holiday period into a new opportunity to learn values through sport, transforming it into a very useful educational tool.

Alliance
More than 200 children from various countries on the American continent attended these clinics in 2023, and one group enjoyed a visit from Kenti Robles. The hope is that this initiative will be rolled out to more countries where children between the ages of 5 and 17 can be taught about the productive use of leisure time, thereby consolidating the successful alliance between the Real Madrid Foundation and Palladium Hotel Group.
