The Hope and Joy Foundation, a locally-based partner of the Real Madrid Foundation in India, held its traditional charity dinner for India at Casa Mónico. This event allocates all its proceeds to the maintenance of the projects that this foundation is currently developing in Spain and India. Among them, the seven schools in Trichy and the one in Kerala, which are part of the socio-sports schools of the Real Madrid Foundation. The Foundation has been collaborating with the Hope and Joy Foundation for more than 12 years now and every season the dinner is attended by collaborators of the Foundation, whose presence gives visibility to our ally in India.

The seven socio-sports schools provide 700 children with education in values through sport, as well as food, study support and annual medical check-ups. The Real Madrid Foundation has been working for children in India since 2011 and more than 9,000 have already received care through these projects. In addition, families are also involved through workshops and talks to raise awareness of the importance of keeping their children in school, thus avoiding their premature incorporation into the world of work.
