The Real Madrid Foundation Training Department organised another online training activity for the coaches at its socio-sporting schools. The initiative, entitled Foundation Match, involved a training workshop in which the coaches from the Foundation schools in different countries were able to exchange experiences. On this occasion, the online session, which involved the discussion of strategies to instil values during training sessions, was delivered in Portuguese to the coaches from the schools in Brazil, Portugal, Santo Tomé-Príncipe and Cape Verde.

This online gathering enabled the participants coaches and educators in the Foundation’s projects from across the globe to share their knowledge and explain how they deliver a values-based education through sport in their particular contexts, with the focus on the fact that the experiences of certain coaches may assist others in the future.

This session, which overcame distances and time zones, saw around 20 coaches and educators engage to discuss the comprehensive methodology. The educator’s main contributions focused on the importance of educational and fun proposals to promote learning amongst the children who take part in the projects.
