Real Madrid Foundation showcases its Sport & tech innovation projects at Expo Dubai 2020
A technical improvement clinic alongside partner Baniyas employed Spiideo, Touch Tight and Playermaker tools in real time.
The Real Madrid Foundation made its return to Expo Dubai 2020 in collaboration with the Spanish Pavilion. On this occasion, by presenting the innovative Sport & tech tools, which are being trialled to improve the Foundation's technical development clinics around the world.
Thanks to Baniyas, partner of the Foundation's socio-sports school in Abu Dhabi, ESM UEA - GEMS Schools and the backing of the Dubai Sports Council, over seventy players benefited from the latest technical development clinic. Tools like Spiideo, which records, analyses and plays back in real time, Touchtight, for creating interactive content, and Player maker, which sends data to the cloud via a smart device worn in the boot and projects it onto a large video screen on the pitch, have been employed.
The quest for educational excellence
Not only do these innovations enhance the knowledge of the evolution of each participant's game, but they also constitute a major breakthrough for the technical-tactical analysis of the sessions as well as for the player's own safety, thereby helping to prevent injuries. Innovation across different strands in the quest for educational excellence is one of the objectives that the Foundation is pursuing to provide the best experience for each of the participants and beneficiaries of the organisation's educational projects all around the world.
