Real Madrid Foundation holds its inclusivity days in Battambang
The students from the school in Japan travelled to Cambodia for the experience.
The Real Madrid Foundation's social sports school in Battambang Cambodia welcomed a group of students from the football school run in Japan alongside GFM, who travelled with their families. Kike Figaredo S. J., the city's mayor, and Kohei Masuda, director of the football school program in Japan, took part in the inclusivity and values day, which was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
The beneficiaries of the project enjoyed two days of football tournaments at the Tahen and La Paloma centres. The intense sporting activities were complemented by the delegations' visits to the textile factory, one of the projects run by the NGO Sauce Solidaridad, Ayuda y Unión Crean Esperanza and a traditional Cambodian dance exhibition.
Providing primary education for all children

Thanks to the Foundation's social sports school, which has been supported by GFM Global Football Management, the local Japanese football schools partner, since 2019, over 100 young people in vulnerable situations can learn values through sport together.
Working together for a more inclusive world
Both for the students of the Foundation's schools in Japan, and for their families, this was an enriching experience which allowed them to witness first-hand the work being carried out with children who live in very different circumstances to their own. It also helped to underline the fact they often share the same passions and interests, and encourage them to work towards a more inclusive world.
