One Team Gathering: Williams-Goss and Musa, with the students from the Foundation's adapted basketball schools
The social responsibility project which involves all the clubs in the Euroleague.
Williams-Goss and Musa, the first team basketball players, held a meeting with the students from the Real Madrid Foundation's adapted basketball schools, as part of the Euroleague's One Team project. One Team has been collaborating for more than 10 seasons with the adapted basketball schools that the Foundation has been carrying out in Madrid, for students with severe mental disabilities who have a tailor-made programme with all the benefits of educational sport and education in values.
A group of students from the adapted basketball social sports schools, who won the white card due to their good conduct, had the amazing experience of taking part in a training session and a match with the stars of the first team at the Real Madrid City pavilion, encouraging the values of companionship, respect and the motivation to make an effort. Williams-Goss and Musa helped to create an atmosphere of excitement and smiles, turning the session into an unforgettable day for the children, who finished the activity with a team chant and a team photo that will stay with them for a long time to come.
The children who benefit from the adapted basketball schools take part in the Euroleague games with exhibitions matches at half-time and have the chance to meet their idols, a great motivation for them and a means of raising the profile of people with disabilities and encouraging their real inclusion in society.
