Foundation clinics return to Azerbaijan

Álvaro Arbeloa, ambassador at Real Madrid and coach of the under-19s’ team, welcomed the cofounders of Footland, Parviz Najafov and Zeynal Karimzada, at Real Madrid City to present the programme of educational football clinics which will be held next summer in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The profits from these activities will support the socio-sports projects that the Real Madrid Foundation is running in the region for children at risk of exclusion.

This is the second consecutive season in which football clinics will be run in collaboration with Footland, following last summer's success, which is expected to be exceeded with around 250 participants for this edition. The Sabis Sun International School will once again be the stage for this event which, with the general sponsorship of ABB Bank and VISA, will take place next summer in Baku. Two coaches from the Foundation will be travelling to the country to assist young people who want to live a unique experience through football and learning values, with the educational methodology of the Foundation.
