Casillas welcomed the children from Germany, Austria, Belgium and France to the clinics
The activities are developed in partnership with Kohfahl Ballstrategien.
The Real Madrid Foundation's Deputy Director General, Iker Casillas, welcomed around a hundred players from the Foundation's clinics to Real Madrid City. Boys and girls from Germany, Austria, Belgium and France will this week be taking part in a Real Madrid Foundation clinic, run by Kohfahl Ballstrategien and supported by Adidas. It was a surprise for these youngsters, who are enjoying high-intensity football sessions designed by the Foundation's coaches and backed by Real Madrid's sports department.
As well as having his photograph taken with the youngsters, Casillas was very interested in how this experience has been for them and conveyed to them the message that they should continue to enjoy football together with their teammates and share the values that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.
Presence in Europe
The Real Madrid Foundation has been holding clinics in Europe in partnership with Kohfahl Ballstrategien since 2014. The number of participants reached 10,500 last season, all of whom trained and learned using the Foundation's sporting and educational methodology. Several clinics are planned to be held at Real Madrid City throughout the year.
