Emilio ButragueñoReal Madrid's Director of Institutional Relations, and Enrique Sánchez, Executive Vice-President of the Real Madrid Foundation, welcomed Susana Rodríguez, Director General of Cantabria Labs, to Real Madrid City to present the collaboration agreement between the two organisations. Following a year as a Real Madrid sponsor, Cantabria Labs has decided to lend their support to the Foundation's youth basketball program in hospitals, as well as setting up a new social sports school alongside the Fundación Emalaikat in Turkana Kenya.
 
At the event, Susana Rodríguez underlined “We're thrilled to be joining the Real Madrid Foundation to pursue our goal of improving people's lives. Cantabria Labs boasts experience of over 30 years collaborating with social impact programs that contribute to integration and create opportunities that allow people to achieve their life goals. We share a common objective to help those less fortunate, a desire to change things and the positive values of sport."

Meanwhile, Emilio Butragueño underlined, “we share a host of values with Cantabria Labs, including the pursuit of excellence, contributions to improving people's quality of life and an emphasis on the value of good health. The collaboration we're presenting today is yet more evidence of that."
 
New school in Kenya
The new Real Madrid Foundation social sports school in Turkana will be run in collaboration with the Fundación Emalaikat and thanks to support from Cantabria Labs. It aims to help vulnerable young people by providing education and contributing to their development and social integration.
