Beneficiaries of the Foundation's schools in Miami attend Real Madrid's clash with Juventus
The program is run in collaboration with the International Studies Foundation and is supported by Millicom/Tigo.
A group of participants in the Real Madrid Foundation's social sports schools in Miami were rewarded for their exemplary conduct with the chance to be at the match between Real Madrid and Juventus at the Camping World Stadium Orlando. The school has been run in collaboration with the International Studies Foundation since 2021 in public parks and offers social and sporting activities for kids and young people from low-resource families in the Miami area.
The sustainability of the school has been assured thanks to the Real Madrid Foundation's alliance with Millicom/Tigo. The project has also incorporated activities designed to promote responsible internet usage, provide access to digital tools and prevent cyber-bullying.
Football as a tool
Football acts as a tool through which to unite a multicultural community and promote a healthy lifestyle. It aims to bring high quality sporting practice to neighbourhoods, creating a healthy leisure space near to people's homes. Furthermore, thanks to the Millicom/Tigo collaboration, the beneficiaries can also enjoy digital literary courses that help to provide equal opportunities to foster genuine social development.
