Official Announcement: Terry Venables passes away

Real Madrid C. F., its President and its Board of Directors are deeply saddened by the death of Terry Venables, legendary player and coach of English and European football.
Real Madrid would like to express its condolences and affection to his family, those he worked and played with, his clubs and all his loved ones.
As a player, Terry Venables had spells with Chelsea FC, Tottenham Hotspur, Queens Park Rangers and Crystal Palace. He was an England international.
As a coach, he became a legend after managing numerous English teams and the England team that played in the 1996 European Championship in England. In Spain, he coached F. C. Barcelona between 1984 and 1987.
Terry Venables passed away at the age of 80. May he rest in peace.
