Laso: “We need to match their energy in defence and play with a good rhythm in attack”
NEWS.
Pablo Laso and Adam Hanga spoke about EuroLeague round 29 match against Olimpia Milan, which will take place at the WiZink Center Thursday, 8:45pm CET. The Real Madrid coach said: 'Milan have experienced players in every position and are a very solid team. Their point guards are performing at a very good level, as well as their forwards. They're a very complete team, they're at the top end of the standings and are playing at a high level'.

'They've had injury problems, like every team, but they're always a very competitive team. We have to be well aware that we're playing against a big team tomorrow'.

What kind of match will it be?
'It's difficult to say how the match will go because they're defending very well. They work very hard on defence, the pick and roll, the inside ball, the rebounding, they circulate the ball well... They've also had a difficult schedule and are struggling to post high scores. Their defensive solidity means that they're always going to be very competitive. We're going to have to match that defensive energy and attempt to break their defence down using a good attacking rhythm, shooting and movement. If we don't, we know that they'll lead us into the kind of game they're comfortable with'.

Hanga: 'We want to turn things around'.
'I hope it's a game where we can turn things around a bit. We've been finding it hard of late, we're not playing with a lot of fluidity and we want to change that. We did a bit better in Belgrade, but we still need to improve our accuracy and there are things we want to do better. We're at home and want to come out very strong and win this game in front of our fans'.
