Laso: “We have to get back to doing the basics in our game'
“Unicaja are a very competitive team but I'm most concerned with us putting in a good performance', said the coach in the build-up.
Pablo Laso assessed the game against Unicaja de Málaga on matchday 22 in the League, set to be played on Sunday at the Martín Carpena 6:30pm CET: “Unicaja have real talent in the outside positions. They are a team that plays open basketball, are dangerous from the three-point line, strong in one-on-ones, tough to defend against and are extremely mobile. Kravic's arrival has given them a boost on the inside. We have to get back to doing the basics in our game, that will be crucial against a team with tough attributes”.
“They are having a difficult year, with the change of coach and struggling to close situations out, but they are a competitive team, it's always difficult to play against them and they're capable of a big performance. In the midst of so many fixtures, I'm sure something with change with the new coach but it's tough to implement that in the middle of the season. I'm most concerned with us putting in a good performance'.
