Laso: “We have to control the pace of the game and defend well if we're going to beat Tenerife'
“Our aim is to lift the Copa and to do so, we must win this game”, said Hanga.
Pablo Laso and Adam Hanga spoke to the press at the team hotel about Real Madrid's upcoming semi-final clash with Lenovo Tenerife Saturday, 6:30pm CET. The madridista coach reflected: “We have to do what we've been doing all year and it's important to recover well from the last game. Tomorrow's match will be different to the Breogán one. They're games full of big emotion and they're finals for us”.
“In the last couple of games, we've controlled the pace, improved on defense and made fewer mistakes. That will have to continue against Tenerife. They'll force us to pay close attention to our defensive game, we have to stay strong and remain solid. Offensively, we'll have to move the ball quickly and hit good numbers”.
The opposition
“Tenerife are a team who play some great basketball. They move the ball very well, are a threat from the three-point line. Marcelinho is a guy who creates so much for the team. I'm viewing this like a final, this is the Copa. The teams who have made it here did a great job in the first half of the season. Both teams deserve their place in the semi-finals”.
