Laso: 'The team gave its all and I'm proud of the players'
NEWS.
Pablo Laso spoke to the media to offer his thoughts following the Copa del Rey final between Real Madrid and Barcelona and the coach had the following to say: “We put in a good performance, but we lacked that quality in offense at key times. We lacked that accuracy in and around the basket and I think that the team worked hard across the whole weekend and gave its all. I'm proud of the players”.

“Every game is different. Ee performed well defensively and I don't go away from here feeling unhappy at the work that the boys have put in. It was a game in which we faded, whilst Barcelona grew into it. I don't go away here with a sour taste in my mouth because we had a chance in the final seconds”.
“The team performed very well defensively throughout the whole game. They produced several offensive plays through Jokubaitis. Fifty-nine points weren’t enough for us and it was a game that was decided in the final plays”.

Physical aspect
“I don't like to lose players. Some of them were only fit just in time for the Copa del Rey. The only thing in my mind is that we now have to rest up and we’ve then got a EuroLeague game on Thursday. We’ll have to assess Hanga’s injury and we’ll get him tested. I hope it's just a knock”.
