Pablo Laso spoke to the press before his side’s final training session ahead of the Copa del Rey final in Granada 6:30pm CET. The madridista coach had the following to say: “Reaching the final again in this tournament and the overall track record speak volumes about this team. To win this tournament first you have to qualify and then play the finals. That’s what makes this competition great”.

“Barcelona have produced two great offensive displays, scoring over 100 points. We’ve played well defensively in both our games. It’ll be crucial to reduce their scoring. We’re going to have to be strong in defence and clinical in attack. We’ll have to be at our best to beat Barcelona”.

Causeur
“The team is doing well. I’d love to have everyone available, but that’s not the case. Causeur won’t be playing today and we’re not going to force him because it’s a muscle injury”.

Changes in the teams
“I only think about one game at a time. Madrid had one team before and Barcelona had another. The players change over time. The only thing that concerns me is the game, not the past, or how good or bad we were”.
