Laso: “Now we have to think about our next match”
“They deserved the victory”, said the coach after the game against Zalgiris.
Pablo Laso gave his view on Real Madrid’s performance away at Zalgiris Kaunas in round 27 of the EuroLeague , which ended in a victory for the Lithuanians: “At several points of the game we weren´t clinical enough with our shooting, we weren´t as solid in defence and we lacked energy. That made it very difficult for us to compete against a side who played really well and were well organised. They deserved the victory and that’s that. Now we have to think about our next match and forget about this one”.
'If you hit one out of 15 three-pointers it's difficult to score points. You don't break open the defence and you don't create good scoring situations. And if you lose 16 balls it's tough to stay in the game. We have to improve. I'm not worried about the points but in less than a week we haven't been good in attack. I believe it's just a problem of energy and confidence'.

Today it wasn´t a problem of motivation; it was more a problem of the mentality and physicality of all the players. We have to be prepared for these games too'.
