Chus Mateo: “We're looking to continue our winning streak in order to qualify”
NEWS.
Chus Mateo and Adam Hanga discussed the Anadolu Efes-Real Madrid EuroLeague round 24 clash Tuesday, 6:30pm CET: The coach gave his analysis of the match at the press conference: "It's an important game, on a tough court and against the reigning champions. We're looking to continue our winning streak in order to qualify for the playoffs and to then get home-court advantage. It's a good game for us to come away in a stronger position, but not for us to take anyone out of the playoff equation".

"Williams-Goss won't be traveling. He's torn his abductor and we won't know if it's Grade 1 or Grade 2 for a couple of days. Yabusele will travel, but I don't know if he'll be fit to play. Injuries change plans, but players coming in and out make things more complicated".

Sixth match in twelve days
"It's what it is, you can't stop to think about the number of games and the fact that some players have been injured because of the workload. We had the chance against Bilbao for some players to become more influential. We're looking to not drive ourselves crazy looking at this schedule and just focus on the next game. We don't have much time to train and we try to take advantage of the games to improve things".
Opponents
"We think they'll all be there. They're a winning team and we shouldn't be thinking about their injuries. We don't assess whether they're injured or not. We know how it works and even more so with Anadolu Efes".

Alocén
"He has been working for over a year but has had to stop at some point. Our medical and technical staff's mindset is that he should recover well. We have to be patient and not put dates on him. We're hoping that Alocén and Randolph are back as soon as possible".

Hanga: "I expect a very physical game"
"We're going into a game that's going to be very tough for us and that's very important for Anadolu Efes, as they're two wins away from the playoff places. It's a final for them because, if they don't win, it will make their situation very difficult. I expect a very tough game, very hard, very physical and dangerous for us. We have to be ready".

"We have to play very well on defence. We're aware that Anadolu Efes plays a lot of one-on-one. We must take individual responsibilities in defence, but also defend as a team. We need good outside shooting in offense, but I think if we defend well, we'll have good chances to win the game".
