Chus Mateo: 'We're keen to put in a good performance in front of our fans'
'We’ll have to go out and be focused right from the off,' the coach commented in the build-up to the match-up between Real Madrid and Joventut.
Chus Mateo offered his thoughts ahead of Real Madrid's Matchweek 4 league match-up against Joventut Sunday, 7:30pm CET and told Realmadrid TV: “We've had three road trips on the bounce and are now looking forward to getting back to the WiZink Center. We're keen to put in a good performance in front of our fans.”
“Joventut is a team that relies heavily on three pointers and they do very well in that department. We’ll have to be on our guard to react to those shots. They've got some quality players on the outside and Tomic performs very well on the low post. We're going to just go out and play our game in offense, not commit any turnovers and try to produce a more fluent performance. We're up against a team that will demand a lot of us, but we're on our own floor. The way things go at the start of the game must not influence the rest of the match. We’ll have to go out and be focused right from the off.”

“Alberto is capable of operating in several positions on the outside and we can shift him around between those positions. He returned after almost four months on the sidelines and we're going to welcome back a number of players to give the others a rest.”
