Chus Mateo: “We're enjoying a good run of form but we mustn't be overconfident”
NEWS.
Chus Mateo discussed the second game of the Endesa League quarter-finals, where Real Madrid visit Gran Canaria Wednesday, 9pm CEST: 'We're feeling good, we're looking forward to putting in a good performance. We want to keep this winning streak going. Hopefully we will carry on working as hard as we have been doing, without losing balls, rebounding well and defending as a team'.

'The other day against Gran Canaria we had a very good first half and hopefully we can repeat that here, it's not going to be easy on their court. We know that it's a very tough place to play and that it's their last chance in the competition, so we're expecting Gran Canaria to be at their best. We're enjoying a good run of form and we want to continue in that vein. We mustn't be overconfident because Gran Canaria are a side that play very well'.

Key points
'We have to be aware that we need to work as a team. Tavares is the backbone of our defence, but we can correct defensive errors, like the ones that happened the other day, with everyone's involvement. We have to be able to get one-on-one, defend the outside and check on top of their shooters'.
