Chus Mateo: “We'll have to deliver a disciplined, complete performance'

Chus Mateo and Adam Hanga spoke in the build-up to Real Madrid-EA7 Emporio Armani Milan on EuroLeague matchday 29 8:45pm CET. The coach reflected: “They are very disciplined defensively and they like to play at their own pace. They really don't allow their opponents many chances in offense. We're expecting a tough, hugely demanding game against a team full of top quality players”.

“Milan didn't start as well as they could have, with a run of games they lost which didn't reflect the potential of the team. They've got some of their injured players back now and they'll playing at a really top level. They're highly disciplined, well coached and have a lot of weapons in offense'.
“I think they're going to change things up in defense to try and put us off our game. I'm expecting a seriously tough match against a team who will go all out. We have to prepare very well, defend hard and maintain consistency over the full 40 minutes, making sure we close out the rebound and run a lot”.
