Chus Mateo: “We'd like to make our fans happy”
'We want to go out and win the game and we have to leave everything on the court', said the coach prior to the Clásico.
Chus Mateo spoke at a press conference to discuss the Endesa League round 14 clash between Real Madrid and Barça at the WiZink Center Monday, 9pm CET. The coach said: ' They're a side that play well and have players who are very familiar with each other. They've been playing a similar way for a long time and they have a clear identity. Both sets of players are highly motivated to go out and win the game'.
'We're at home, playing in front of our own fans. Real Madrid fans always expect us to give everything, regardless of how well you do, or whether you win or lose. They want to see you give it your all. We're on the same page and we're interested in the same thing. We want to go out and win the game and approach it full of confidence, but we have to leave everything on the court. We'd like to make our fans happy'.
