Chus Mateo: “We have two really tough games in three days'
“Joventut are playing some great basketball and we can't afford to be complacent,' underlined the coach.
Chus Mateo spoke to the press ahead of Joventut-Real Madrid on matchday 29 of the League Sunday, 6:00pm CEST: “The league has been really tough this year. There are three teams at the top but we can't afford to be complacent against the others who are fighting to get up there and they are playing at a high level on home turf. The calendar is relentless as well. The games are coming thick and fast and you barely have any time to recover physically. We have two very tough games in three days, first against Joventut and then Tuesday with the start of the EuroLeague playoffs.
“All 15 are available to travel. Deck came back to training this week. He's been out with a strain and we hope he can get back into the swing of things now. We try and make sure that all the guys who get game time can contribute positively to the team, regardless of the players out there. We have to treat every game from here until the end of the season as a serious test."

“They are a Spanish basketball institution. Durán has done an incredible job during his time at Joventut and right now they are playing at a fantastic level, competing to make the EuroLeague next season. They are an incredibly physical outfit."
