Chus Mateo gave his assessment of Fenerbahçe-Real Madrid at the end of Euroleague game 11: "This is basketball and these things happen. We have to keep working, it's our first defeat in the Euroleague. We have to keep working in the same way, what happened tonight is in the past."
"It was a wonderful contest between two teams that wanted to win. We dominated most of the game and I think we did a good job overall. It's not easy to play against Fenerbahce in Istanbul. They were very good throughout."
