Chus Mateo: “It was a brilliant spectacle”
NEWS.
Chus Mateo and Facundo Campazzo spoke following Real Madrid's win over the Dallas Mavericks on Luka Doncic's return. The coach explained: "We were treating this game like a party and it wouldn't have mattered at all if we hadn't won it. Our aims lie elsewhere, like in the EuroLeague and the Endesa League. It was a brilliant spectacle and we have to thank the team who have come over here to play."

Campazzo: “It's always good to win games”
“I'm delighted to have seen old teammates again and it was a real show for the people. I hope they enjoyed it. It's always good to win games, even if it's only a friendly, because it helps boost morale. We shouldn't forget this was just a show, entertainment for people and a chance to see Doncic and watch his team, while trying to compete."

On Doncic
“I thought he looked good. It's a shame he couldn't have more game time with his muscle problem. He had a big smile on his face. He's one of our own and he has a fantastic relationship with the club and every one of us here. I'm really pleased to see how warmly people received him because he deserves it."

“He always has Real Madrid on his mind, and this was a little bit a case of showing him how much the people love him here. They had a great time and I'm delighted for him as well."
