Chus Mateo: “I hope that these situations help us to grow”
“If the game is yours to win you have to take it and on this occasion we haven't been able to do that”, added the coach.
Chus Mateo gave his analysis of the match between Leyma Coruña and Real Madrid. The coach stated in the press room: "We have to work hard every day and, obviously, we have to do better in the games. We have to improve our rebounding, distribute the ball a little better than we are doing and figure out what kind of game we want to play at any given moment and at other moments. We can correct these situations by working on them. I hope that these situations help us to grow".
"We can give whatever excuses we want if we want to look for excuses, but we're not looking for excuses, we're working. We're not playing as we'd like to. We've changed lots this year and we need some time. Irrespective of the rotations, if the game is yours to win you have to take it and on this occasion we haven't been able to do that".
