Rudy honoured with the Spanish Olympic Committee Special Award
The Real Madrid player received this award at the Spanish Olympic Committee gala, which recognises him as one of the most outstanding sportspeople of 2023.
Rudy Fernández has been acknowledged with the COE Special Men's Award at the 18th gala of the Spanish Olympic Committee, which took place at the headquarters of the organisation in Madrid and which has recognised the most outstanding Spanish sports personalities of 2023. The event was also attended by his former teammate and Madrid legend Felipe Reyes.
Rudy won two titles with Real Madrid in 2023: the eleventh European Cup in Kaunas and the Spanish Super Cup in Murcia. In addition, at the World Cup last summer, he became the player with the most caps for Spain, surpassing Navarro. Last September, Rudy played his 700th game for Real Madrid. He is the third most capped player in the history of the club, behind Felipe Reyes and Sergio Llull.
