The first anniversary of the tenth basketball Super Cup
Real Madrid were crowned champions in Murcia on 17 September 2023 after beating Unicaja in the final (81-88).
Real Madrid won its tenth Spanish Super Cup in basketball a year ago, the sixth in a row. Chus Mateo's team beat Unicaja 81-88 in the final at the Palacio de Deportes de Murcia. It was a well-deserved victory, thanks to a 6-20 run in the last six minutes, with Campazzo excelling (19 points and 23 PIR). The Argentine was named MVP of the tournament for the third time.
Before the win over Unicaja, Madrid edged out Barcelona 80-90 in the semi-finals. The victory in the Super Cup was the start of a spectacular season in which they also won the Copa del Rey and the league.
