A minute's silence was observed in honour of Amancio and Babiloni before the start of the match between Real Madrid and Zalgiris.
The WiZink Center observed a minute's silence in memory of Amancio and Babiloni before the start of the match against Zalgiris. Amancio Amaro, Real Madrid's president of honour, was one our club's great legends and also one of the most famous football talents in the world. He won the sixth European Cup, 9 Spanish Leagues and 3 Spanish Cups, and won the first European Championship with the Spanish national team in 1964. Jesús Pascual Babiloni played for Real Madrid between 1968 and 1970 and won 1 Spanish League and 1 Spanish Cup.
