Real Madrid finishes the second half of La Liga undefeated
They become the second team in the ACB to achieve this feat after the team led by Lolo Sainz in the 1984/85 season.

With their victory over Casademont Zaragoza, Real Madrid completed a perfect second half of the Regular Season. Eighteen wins in 17 games to finish undefeated and equal a record set 20 seasons ago by Lolo Sainz's Madrid, the only team until now to win all their games in the second half of the season.
But this Real Madrid team also deserves a lot of credit, because they have played four more games. That team from 84/85 won 14 in Group A1. Furthermore, with the current format, no one has achieved this except this team. Chus Mateo's men began the second half of the season at the Movistar Arena on 26 January, and since then, no team has been able to defeat them, winning on such difficult courts as Unicaja, La Laguna Tenerife and Barcelona.
In total, they have won eight games at home and nine away. The biggest win came on matchday 28 against Surne Bilbao Basket by 18 points (88-70).
