A winning run through October
NEWS.
Real Madrid enjoyed a perfect October. The month was set to be complicated with 11 games in 29 days, but the team came out of it unbeatable: they won all 10 official games five in the league and another five in the Euroleague as well as the exhibition game against the Dallas Mavericks at the WiZink Center in Doncic's return.

The month got underway with the first league Clásico and our team came away with an 86-79 home win over Barça. Five days later it was time for the Euroleague opener, where Chus Mateo's team got off to a winning start with a 77-79 victory at the Buesa Arena against Baskonia. The third win was away against Bàsquet Girona. Winning by 19 points 74-93, we took the sole lead.

Doncic's return
Tuesday 10 October was a special day for Real Madrid fans. Luka Doncic was back at the WiZink Center with the Dallas Mavericks. The party was complete as the team coached by Chus Mateo won 127-123. Less than 48 hours later, and with barely any rest, the team travelled to Istanbul to play its first Euroleague outing against Anadolu Efes. They won with an offensive display 80-103 and a personal best for Yabusele 39 PIR. The week was rounded off with a sixth win, this time at home against UCAM Murcia, the third consecutive game where they scored more than 100 points 106-92.
Demanding timetable
Fifteen very demanding days were still to come. First up, a Euroleague double-header at the WiZink Center against Zalgiris and EA7 Emporio Armani Milan. Both games ended in convincing wins 93-79 and 88-71. The week ended with another league win at Lenovo Tenerife's court 76-82. On Thursday 26th, Barça paid a visit to Madrid in the Euroleague in a match between unbeaten teams. Our team prevailed by one point 65-64 and moved to the top of the table. One match was left to complete the full 11 and Madrid won it against Zunder Palencia at home by 91-68.

14 official wins in a row
It's been an impeccable start for Madrid. In addition to the 10 official victories in October, there were four in September. Madrid won all four games in the first month of competition and claimed the first trophy at stake: the Spanish Super Cup, in which they beat Barça in the semi-finals 80-90 and Unicaja Malaga in the final 81-88. The other two wins came in the first two league matches against Casademont Zaragoza 101-70 and Baxi Manresa 88-94.
