Real Madrid closes a week of three away games with an unprecedented clash in the ACB against Coviran Granada. We come into the game on tha back of winning the Euroleague double-header against Belgrade and Berlin, and we will defend our lead in the league against an opponent which is playing its first season in the top flight of Spanish basketball. Chus Mateo's team is looking for its thirteenth victory in the championship.

Madrid have won eight of their last nine games, while their opponents have lost seven in a row, making them even more dangerous. After this week's travels, the mental aspect and concentration will become even more important. As well as rebounding, because Coviran Granada is the second best in offensive rebounds in the competition. They are very physical and dangerous team near the hoop.
Without the injured Maye and Felicio, the backbone of the Granadinos is formed by the outside players Renfroe and Bropleh and the inside backcourt player Niang. The Andalusians are conceding close to 90 points per game and Madrid's average offensive rating is 87.8. Musa 15.5, Yabusele 11.8 and Tavares 11.2 are the team's top scorers.

Sweet Moment
The more demanding the schedule, the more Real Madrid grows. Between January 6th and Thursday 12th, our team achieved four victories against very complicated opponents, displaying a great image Maccabi, Gran Canaria, Red Star and Alba Berlin. Now, the team will have to face, in addition to a great rival, the fatigue factor. A tough, fresh test at  Granada's Palacio de Deportes.
