Real Madrid head to the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall in Istanbul to take on Anadolu Efes in the rescheduled Euroleague round 24 game, which was suspended due to the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. Chus Mateo's men, who boast the best away record in the competition, will be looking to move level with Olympiacos at the top of the standings. Their opponents, the defending champions, currently sit in tenth place.

This afternoon marks the start of another tough week of three games in barely six days Thursday, EA7 Emporio Armani Milan and Sunday, Baskonia. And tonight's game is no ordinary contest. The two teams that battled it out in the last EuroLeague final go head-to-head once again. Madrid, who sit second in the standings with one game and one win behind Olympiacos 19-8, are in a commanding position for the playoffs. If they prevail, they will be five wins clear of the ninth-placed team with six games remaining. Anadolu Efes sit tenth 13-14 and are just two wins away from the playoff places.
Chus Mateo's charges go to the clash in Istanbul having claimed victory in six of the last seven outings, including two straight away wins Monaco and Asvel. Meanwhile, the Turks have slipped to defeat twice in a row but are the champions of the last two editions. Ataman possesses standout players in Larkin, Micic and Clyburn. They are accompanied by a robust and experienced squad Beaubois, Pleiss, Dunston, Zizic and Singleton.

Strong on the road
Madrid will have to offset this with their collective resilience. Deck comes off the back of being  MVP  last matchday. The Whites have proven to be pretty reliable away from home. They have picked up nine wins out of 13 games and boast the best away record ahead of Olympiacos and Barça. In the previous round, the madridistas won 94-85 at the WiZink Center spearheaded by Hanga and Poirier. The Hungarian small forward is just one game away from 100 games in our jersey.
