The captain has played in the competition 14 times, winning it on four occasions.
Sergio Ramos heads into the Spanish Super Cup having made more appearances in the competition than any other madridista in history. The captain has been involved in 14 matches, eclipsing the 13 games played by Casillas and Raúl's 12. The most experienced players in the current Whites' squad in the Super Cup are Marcelo (9) and Benzema (8).
Ramos, who has lifted the trophy four times, made his Super Cup debut in 2007 against Sevilla. Since then, he hasn't lost a single match across the seven editions the team have been involved in. His other rivals were Valencia, Barcelona and Atlético. The rojiblanco outfit were the Whites' opposition in last year's final and it was Ramos who netted the decisive penalty kick in the shootout to hand the title to Real Madrid.
