Historic Goals: Raúl
NEWS.
This week, in Goles con Historia, the star of the show is Raúl. The striker, one of the great legends of our club, stood out for his goals and his dedication. He came to the first team in 1994, after emerging from the youth academy, and ended his time as a Madrid player in 2010. He is the player with the most games in the history of Real Madrid and the third highest goal scorer.

In the 1998/99 season, Real Madrid visited Athletic in the fourth round of LaLiga. In the goal we are highlighting, Seedorf filtered a pass behind the back of the rival defense and Raúl, without letting the ball drop, shot first-time to the goalkeeper's right post. Real Madrid won the match 2-3 thanks to goals from RaúlMijatovic and Savio.
Raúl wore the Real Madrid jersey for 16 seasons, in which he played 741 games and scored 323 goals. His career was full of success. He lifted 16 titles, many of them as captain: 3 European Cups, 2 Intercontinental Cups, 1 European Super Cup, 6 Leagues and 4 Spanish Super Cups.
