Real Madrid Foundation launches podcast ahead of VI International Conference
The initiative focuses its first episode on respect.
On the occasion of the Real Madrid Foundation's VI International Conference ‘For a REAL Education: Values and Sport’, the Foundation launches the podcast Liderar RespetuosaMENTE, an initiative that seeks to bring professionals in the educational and sports fields closer to the main topics that will be addressed at the congress. The podcast was created with the aim of bringing coaches, teachers and professionals in the socio-educational field closer to the topics that will be addressed at the congress through real conversations and everyday experiences lived in the Real Madrid Foundation schools.
How do you learn respect in sport? What decisions does a coach make when educating beyond the result? The Real Madrid Foundation answers these kinds of questions in Liderar RespectuosaMENTE.
In the first episode, devoted to respect, a coordinator talks to a basketball coach about real training and competition situations, reflecting on how to lead with respect when mistakes, conflicts or emotional challenges arise. The talk focuses on highlighting key skills such as effective communication, active listening, self-control, and the creation of a positive climate that favours motivation and autonomy.
Leading Respectfully is a space to reflect, learn and anticipate the contents of the congress, which will be held on 7 and 8 March at Real Madrid City, and which will bring together professionals interested in sport as a tool for education and social transformation.
