EA7 Emporio Armani Milan-Real Madrid: Whites aiming to continue winning streak

After last week's two victories at the Movistar ArenaReal Madrid now face the first of three fixtures in five days at EA7 Emporio Armani Milan (Thursday at home to Paris Basketball and Saturday away to Hiopos Lleida). A new challenge for Scariolo's team, who travel to the Italian city with the aim of extending their eight-game winning streak, four of them in the EuroLeague.

The Whites have been undefeated for a month. The streak began on 16 November at the Movistar Arena with a win against Bilbao Basket. They have claimed their last four away wins (Granada, Hapoel Tel Aviv, Anadolu Efes and Tenerife). They are also coming off their best offensive performance of the season against Bàsquet Girona on Sunday with 112 points.

Madrid lead the Milanese side by one win and are only two behind the first-placed team. The Italians are a very experienced team, with a huge offensive capacity (they average 84.9, the same as Madrid) and outside threats (Bolmaro, Brooks, Shields, Guduric) and inside threats (Booker, Nebo and Leday).

On top of their defensive game
As Campazzo said, if they let their opponents under 80 points, there is a good chance of victory. And this is because Madrid, with the exception of the Bologna game, have managed to win if their opponents have not reached that figure. The defensive aspect therefore, becomes more important. And there, our team concedes almost two points less on average than the Italians and, above all, they have more advantage in rebounding. This will be the 27th time they have met in the EuroLeague, with a favourable record for the Madridistas (21-5). Long may the streak continue.
