Scariolo: "The first half in attack and the second half in defence were very good"

Scariolo and Campazzo analysed the game after Real Madrid's victory against Bàsquet Girona on matchday 10 of the League. The coach said at a press conference: “It was a good game. A serious and committed contribution from all the players, who continue to show a good attitude and energy, allowing us to rest other important players, who are a great investment in the medium term.”
"The first half in attack and the second half in defence were very good. Every player contributed and showed that they are well prepared to perform when called upon. Overall, we can look back on the match with satisfaction. It's important that people enjoyed themselves. Now, we're back to another tough week, with three matches in five days. We have to prepare very well in the little time the schedule allows us."
Was it one of the most enjoyable games for your players?
“I have more fun winning a tough game against Fenerbahçe, Olympiacos, Zalgiris... From an aesthetic point of view, maybe yes. Thanks, especially to the work at the start of the third quarter, when we built up a lead on the scoreboard."

“I'm liking what I'm seeing. He has to give us this and at the same time grow in his attention to detail and the little things. He can make a difference when he doesn't have the ball in his hands. He will get better because he's young. Maybe this is his first experience at this level, but he's growing. What he's improving in training is consistent. Campazzo: "We were very generous in attack"
“We played a great game. We scored 112 points and, as we always say, if we keep our opponents to less than 80, we have a much better chance of winning. I want to highlight the good defence we played for the whole 40 minutes, controlling the attack and passing the ball around. We were very generous."
“The victory was another good step forward for the team. This week we have another important challenge with a big game on Tuesday and another on Thursday. If we continue to play as a team as we are now, we will have a lot of chances. When you score baskets, you are happier and more confident. But it all starts from the backcourt and flows from there. Today was a great game, and we have to replicate it next Tuesday against Milan.”
