The Real Madrid Foundation's partner in Azerbaijan, Footland, hosted the Foundation's first football education clinic in Azerbaijan last week. This experience was held at the Sabis Sun International School, under the general sponsorship of ABB Bank, and took place from 14 to 18 August in Baku. Two Foundation coaches travelled to the country to work with 145 boys, girls and youths who learned football skills and sporting values as part of a special experience.
The Real Madrid Foundation's clinics provide young people who have already begun playing football with the chance to develop their football skills by means of specific training led by coaches specifically trained in the organisation's methodology For a real education: Values and sport and endorsed by Real Madrid's Sports Department.
Together with the main sponsor of the programme, ABB Bank, organisations such as Visa and Epoint also collaborated.
