The reserves come away empty-handed from their away fixture but remain at the top of the table.

Real Madrid Castilla lost 3-0 away to Unionistas de Salamanca on Primera Federación matchday 33. The reserve team was unable to extend their run of four consecutive wins going into the game, but they remain at the top of the table. The home side took the lead in the 15th minute through Juampa and increased their advantage at the start of the second half thanks to a goal from De la Nava. Beneit sealed the game in the closing stages.

The game was played at a very high pace from the outset and the first two dangerous moves came from Castilla. In the 6th minute, a shot from close range by Aranda was kept out with a fine save by Salva. In the next move, Dotor failed to beat the keeper in a one-on-one. The tables were turned after 15 minutes, when Unionistas scored the first goal thanks to a diagonal shot from Juampa. The reserves responded after half an hour of play. The home goalkeeper was again key, this time pulling off a great save from an Aranda shot from the edge of the area.

Unionistas take the win
There was time for two more chances before the break. Once again Aranda had the opportunity to equalise with a free-kick that nearly made its way into the top corner (39'). Then, five minutes later, Mario Martín's header narrowly missed the target. No sooner had the second half got underway than Unionistas extended their lead with a header from De la Nava. After the home goal, neither team created any real chances until the final stretch of the match when Beneit scored his team's third in the 87th minute to seal the win. The next match will also be away from home, against Talavera next Sunday (12:00pm CET).
