Real Madrid Castilla picked up a point on their trip to Ceuta after the hosts struck in injury time to rob Raul's team of a second successive win. Despite the blow, the team remain in the upper part of the table, thanks to two first-half Dotor goals. Ceuta cut the deficit from the spot on 76’, before levelling the game with an injury-time header. The result sees Castilla extend their unbeaten run to thirteen matches.
It was a strong start by the youth side, and with just eleven minutes on the clock, Dotor had them in front. Tobias took off down the right flank, raced to the by-line and pulled the back towards Iker Bravo, who failed to connect cleanly, but Dotor was on hand to help it into the back of the net and make it 0-1. The madridistas were dominant as they surged forward in search of a second, though it was Adri Cuevas who had a great chance to equalise, when his shot from inside the box flew over the bar. With 34 minutes gone, Dotor was at the heart of it again, playing a one-two with Arriba before beating Tomás Mejías to complete his brace (34’).
Luck deserts Castilla
In the second half, the hosts flew out the blocks as they looked to get on the scoresheet and Redondo came within inches with an effort from the edge of the box which De Luis did brilliantly to turn behind. Aisar also tried his luck on the hour mark but came up against the madridista shot-stopper once again. Ten minutes later, Peter, who had just come on, struck a vicious curling shot that forced Tomás Mejías into a finger-tip save. Then, with 76 on the clock, Rodri pulled one back from the penalty spot following Rafa Marín's foul. With injury time all but over, Danese levelled at the death when his header ended up in the net to steal a point on 93’.
