Real Madrid slipped to defeat on their visit to Sporting de Huelva (3-1) on matchday 26 of the Primera Iberdrola. The visitors opened the scoring through Zornoza, but the hosts turned the match on its head courtesy of a hat-trick from Anita Marcos. Alberto Toril‘s side were reduced to ten players in the 42nd minute when Svava picked up a second yellow card. The Whites’ next league outing will be on either the 16th or 17th of April against Alavés, after the international break.
Real Madrid opened the scoring in the 5th minute when Zornoza converted a penalty. On 20’, Anita Marcos equalised for the hosts from inside the area. Soon after, Misa had to be at her best to deny Mayra. The home side went in search of a second goal and on the half-hour mark Anita Marcos put them ahead with her second goal. On the stroke of half-time, the madridistas were reduced to ten players and the hosts saw the game out to secure a 3-1 win.
