Asensio on left-footed stunner against Granada: “It was a great goal and a trademark strike"

Marco Asensio was the star man in the win over Granada, which was secured courtesy of another fine strike from the attacker, whose fierce left-footed effort flew past the visitors’ goalkeeper. “In terms of the strike, I tried to go for placement and real get power behind it and also looked for it to move so as to catch the goalkeeper out. Militão won the ball back and the shot caught both the defenders and the goalkeeper out and it was a great goal. It secured a win that looked like it wasn't going to come. It was important to get the win here tonight and it's also important for me to get back on the goal trail. The fans inside the Bernabéu really willed us on and I wanted to repay them with a goal”.
